Lot of 4 George E. Taylor & John W. Allen Leadville, Colorado drugstore bottles. 3 different varieties. 1) Taylor & Allen/ Leadville, 8", slight flaw on lip 2) Taylor & Allen/ Druggists/ Leadville, 6.5", bubbles, near mint. 3) Geo. E. Taylor/ Druggist/ Leadville, 6.25", light stain. 4) Geo. E. Taylor/ Druggist/ Leadville, 6.25", .5" crack in neck. George E. Taylor was a partner with John W. Allen at 202 Harrison Ave in 1881 and 1882. They moved their business to 405 Harrison Ave in 1883 where they operated until 1885. George E. Taylor's store was located at 414 Harrison Ave from 1886 through 1888 and then at 615 Harrison Ave from 1889 through 1911. Harrison Street is the wide main street seen in Leadville today. Frank W. Murphy purchased the Taylor store in 1912.
