Of course, if you believe The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books, the cover artist is Kirby! This comic book from 1940 had the origin and first appearance of the Target, which, considering the name of the title here, has to be one of the most fortuitous coincidences in comic book history. And you thought it was contrived? This copy is one of only two unrestored copies of issue #10 that CGC has certified to date, and seems an undervalued bargain. Overstreet 2003 VG 4.0 value = $382; FN 6.0 value = $573. From the Compleat Kirby Comic Collection. Estimate: $400-up

<!--

 Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions

No Prior Data Recorded

<font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
