This is an amazing set of natural Tanzanite and Diamond dangle earrings set in polished 14k white gold with paperwork. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. This example is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). The earrings are from renowned designer Orianne Collins and is marked, "ORIANNE 14K". The 14 karat white gold earrings feature a two fantastic cushion modified brilliant cut natural Tanzanite stones with a total weight of 5.70 carats and very high quality / clarity with beautiful transparent eye clean finish with Vivid Violet Blue (violetosh blue) color and rare pleochroism giving different changes of colors when moved having a very even color throughout. Surrounding the cushion cut Tanzanite is a triple halo bezel being complete set with natural diamonds and held by a cluster post of diamond and cluster diamond links. Overall, the set shows a total of 232 round brilliant cut Diamonds having a weight of 3.74 carats, SI2 to I2 clarity and H-J color. The earrings come with an AIGL (American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc., a GIA Graduate AIGL#: K85E91-EA13688) report and appraisal which values the earrings at $19,329.00.
