The Captain America story is his first solo adventure since the 1950s, and nobody who's read it has ever forgotten it -- Cap's spending a quiet day at Avengers Mansion when a gang of thugs shows up ready to take on the entire Avengers team, so they think they've got it made when their only opposition is a guy with no super powers... the resulting battle is one of Jack Kirby's most dynamic efforts, and that's saying something! By the way, you might be surprised to know that the first appearance of Jarvis the butler was not in the pages of <B>The Avengers</B></I>, but in this very story. And we haven't even mentioned the Iron Man story with Don Heck art and a memorable cover by Kirby. You won't find a much nicer copy anywhere! Overstreet 2007 NM- 9.2 value = $610.
