<B>Tales of Suspense #59 (Marvel, 1964) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> It's the first solo Captain America story since the 1950's, and <I>every</B></I> serious Marvel fan remembers this story, with Cap planning a quiet evening at Avengers mansion while some thugs plan to attack the "weakest" Avenger. That story is also the first appearance of Jarvis the butler, by the way. Jack Kirby drew the cover and the Cap story, and we almost forgot Iron Man, ably rendered by Don Heck in the issue. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $575.
