Of course, we're talking about Iron Man, and he does have to avenge the death of Professor Yinsen in this classic origin story drawn by Don Heck. Jack Kirby drew the exciting cover, the only cover to show the gray armor, which was changed to gold in the course of the next issue. At this early time, Iron Man was the only superhero feature in the book -- this issue has "suspense" backup features by two great artists, Steve Ditko and Gene Colan.
