The innovative origin story (with Tony Stark) developing the suit to save his life rather than to fight crime) is a collaboration between Stan Lee and his ever-lovin' bro Larry Lieber. The art is by Don Heck, and the cover by Jack Kirby. Actually this issue has all four of Marvel's best artists of the day, with Steve Ditko and Gene Colan each drawing a suspense-themed backup feature. Overstreet 2005 VG 4.0 value = $818.
