<td width="100%">
Signed Talavera de la Reyna pottery jug / pitcher from Puebla, Mexico. Talavera pottery, the oldest example of tin-glazed pottery in America, can only be produced in the Puebla region of Mexico. Master artisans use the same hand-crafted mayólica techniques that have been used for 400 years. Talavera de la Reyna is one of the most famous Talavera pottery workshops. This pitcher or jug has an intricate, dense floral pattern in blues, greens, tans, yellows, and white, with a white interior. It measures about 7.5 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and weighs a little over 2 pounds. It is in very good to excellent condition, with the exception of a small area of chipping on the inside of the bottom rim. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $12.00.
