Great Tahoe collectible four page newspaper published every evening except Sunday. Published from the Grand Central Hotel, located in present day Tahoe City near the north shore of the Lake. Little blurbs about Tahoe including an excursion led by Father McNally of Oakland to Observatory Point where they had a pleasant time and caught 34 trout. Another relates Mrs. Wood of Carnelian Bay and her star gazing spotting a magnificent meteor over the lake. Mr. Steen had also just shipped a larger than normal boom of logs across the lake of 380,000 feet. The paper also notes that "Tahoe" should be pronounced with a long "a" such as in "fate" or "mate". Ads on the front and back include the Grand Central Hotel, Gov. Stanford Steamer, Tahoe Market, Tallac House and the "Big Bonanza" saloon. Some toning and fading of the text.
