This cover is from the first year of the second period the school was in operation! 1889 docketed cover with cork cancels on two Sc212 stamps. 2) Cherokee National Male Seminary corner advertising. Double ring 1886 CDS tied to Sc210. 3) Uncancelled letter to Hon. James R Hendricks. Hendricks was judge of the district court at Tahlequah; capital of the Cherokee Nations. 4) John W. Stapler & Son, 1900. 5) Amazing corner advertising cover of Sequoyah. Sequoyah also known as George Gist or George Guess, was a Native American polymath of the Cherokee Nation. In 1821, he completed his independent creation of the Cherokee syllabary, making reading and writing in Cherokee possible.
