<B>Taft and Bryan 1908 Campaign Pottery</B></I> pair of cups with a single saucer made by the Waterloo Pottery Co. of Waterloo, Iowa. Each piece is marked by the pottery, with the cups, 2.5" tall, showing an embossed image of Taft on one and Bryan on the other. In classic brown glaze tones the Bryan cup is made complete by the matching saucer inscribed " William J. Bryan".<BR> The Taft mate appears here, embossed with his bust as well, but was apparently overfired in it's making causing it to retain a rough finish as opposed to the smoothness of the Bryan.
