PROVENANCE:
The Duncannon Iron Works were owned jointly by Charles Waln Morgan and his brother-in-law William Logan Fisher. The iron works included a blast furnace, rolling mill and nail manufactory. This was one of Fisher's many manufacturing ventures. The correspondence concerning Duncannon Iron Works is found at the William Clemens Library at the University of Michigan and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. These drawings descended in the Fisher family until 1972 when they were sold by descendant Mrs. Wister Wurts.
