Sarah Griffith, probably English, 1824, silk on gauze. Ravens with roses, baskets, dogs and a sailboat with two verses and a narrow floral border. In old inlaid frame, 19 3/4"h. 16 1/4"w. And unmarked sampler, probably English, early 19th century, featuring a couple in 18th-century dress. In a frame, 14"h. 14"w.
Condition: The first has holes in ground, some of which have been carefully repaired. The unmarked one has minor thread loss.
