Oliver Wolcott's father was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. State of Connecticut partly printed Pay-Table Office note dated December 4, 1783, to pay six pounds to Mr. Nathan Ellis, soldier of the Continental Army. Signed by Oliver Wolcott Jr., William Moseley (1755-1824). 6.5 x 5.5 inches. WITH: A second pay order dated 1782 to pay Samuel Mott 'Twenty three Pounds eight shillings'.
