The first a young boy playing the flute as a young girl and her pet goat listen, the scene adorned with pumpkins and harvested grapes; marked with the crossed swords, "G 93" incised in the porcelain, and an impressed "111", the second a young girl warming her hands at a brazier while her friend sits atop a sled of kindling; marked with the crossed swords, "G 94", incised in the porcelain, a gilt "31" and an impressed "63". The first 6 1/2"h x 4 3/4"l x 3 1/2"w, the second 5 3/4"h x 4 3/4"l x 3 1/2"w The first with a 1" x 1/4" loss to the young man`s hat, a 1/2" section out of the grapevine the goat is nibbling, the second with a pinkie finger loss to the boy`s right hand, a broken ax handle and minor losses to the ivy garland he wears.
