D[ennis] Cosley, Xenia, Greene County, Ohio, 1851, wool and cotton. One-piece tied Beiderwand with signed border. 76" x 86". And blue and white coverlet with eagle and willow borders and lily wreath centerfield. Two-piece tied Beiderwand signed "A * S / Reading [PA]/1837". 73" x 92".
Condition: Cosley coverlet has wear and fringe loss. Reading coverlet has thinning edges and a few repaired areas.
