TWO EARLY PIECES OF ROOKWOOD POTTERY. A small standard glaze dish with floral decoration. Marked "R-P 289" and artist signed "HEW" for Harriet Elizabeth Wilcox. 6" w. Together with a small bowl having white mat glaze with floral decoration. Signed "R-P 955 V" and artist signed "EN" for Elizabeth Noonan. It is also X'd, designating it as a "second". 5" dia.

Condition: There is roughness around the bottom edge of the bowl, likely the reason it is a "second".
