Two spearheads from the early middle ages, Viking and Saxon like designs. The first measures 11.5 inches overall, narrow leaf-shaped profile, just over an inch at the widest, with flat central rib and split-socket attachment design. Point is chipped off. The second measures 12 inches overall, with wider leaf profile, 1.5 inch at the widest, very pronounces central rib, and socket with rivet hole attachment design. Both items are in excavated condition, cleaned and very well conserved. Reputedly unearthed in the same area of Germany.
