TWO DRESSING TABLE ACCESSORIES MADE OF METAL PARTS SALVAGED FROM THE WRECKAGE OF VON RICHTHOFEN’S FOKKER DR I TRI-PLANE 425/17. Items are made of aluminum, brass, copper, bakelite, and steel, fashioned by Air Mechanic J. J. Kitts, No. 3 Sqdn., AFC, for his wife. A letter from Kitts to Carisella describing the parts of the tri-plane used in creating the set is included. This item is pictured on page 235 of Who Killed The Red Baron? The center instrument shown in photograph is missing. CONDITION: Fine, showing some evidence of tarnishing on the copper and brass parts.
