TWO 19TH CENTURY COUNTY ATLASES. Lot of 2. Includes "An Illustrated Historical Atlas of Clinton County, Ohio." Compiled, drawn and published from actual surveys by Lake, Griffing & Stevenson, Philadelphia, 1876. Folio, with 20 hand-colored maps, nearly a third of them 2-page maps, including a folding map of Ohio with counties and townships marked and colored. Cloth with leather spine, covers separated, as is title pg., text and map pages still tightly bound. Even toning, some edge scuffing, small separation of folding map. AND "An Atlas of Gibson and Pike Counties, Ind." Publ. by D.J. Lake & Co., Phila., 1881. Folio, 28 hand-colored maps, all but 6 are 2-page maps, with cloth covers with gilt lettering. Covers separated, spine was repaired at some point, most map pages are loose but present, edge scuffing, light toning, some soiling of free end pages.
