TRICERATOPS HORN
Triceratops horridus
Cretaceous
Hell Creek Formation, South Dakota, USA
The triceratops is without a doubt one of the world's most well-known and popular dinosaurs. Their horns were primarily defensive; roaming in vast herds across what is now North America, they were a prime target for larger predators, such as the T-Rex. This well-preserved example is most likely from a young adult, judging by its size and slight curve. Despite approximately 4 inches of restoration to the tip, it is a fine specimen and measures 26 inches in length. Comes complete with a wood and metal display stand.

Shipping: Requires 3rd Party Shipping (view shipping information)
