Travel trunk containing assorted WWII militaria, including: 1) x3 assorted size and material American flags. 2) x1 silk Japanese "Meatball" flag. 3) x1 copy of "HOW THE JAP ARMY FIGHTS" Infantry Journal. 4) x2 copies of "THE JAP SOLDIER" Infantry Journal. 5) 1 contemporary photo album containing vintage photos of Japan, primarily showcasing the aftermath of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. 6) x1 copy of "THE German Soldier" Infantry Journal. 7) x1 Imperial Japanese Manchurian "Incident" war medal. Brass metal with red, white, and yellow ribbon. Medal is housed within an original black leatherette wrapped presentation case. CONDITION: flags all appear good, with some light wear. Japanese "Meatball" flag shows some spots of staining. Booklets are good, showing general wear, some creasing, and some light water staining. 1 book shows moderate crazing, with some tearing and separation at spine. Japanese medal has acquired a pleasing mellow patina. Case shows light to mild wear to its exterior, but otherwise remains sound. Travel trunk is good, with scattered handling marks. (02-24111/MLW).
