WILLIAMS. Cal. 10 Ga. S#. 43790. The 30" twist steel barrels are engraved "Laminated Steel" on matted rib with dolls head extension. Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham black powder proofs for 10 Ga. Top lever action with front spring locks having "C" shaped rebounding hammers is nickel plated. Action and locks are engraved with 60% scroll surrounding bird scenes at rear of lockplates. Front of each lock is engraved "F. Williams". Scroll engraved trigger guard is also nickel plated. Plain dark European buttstock measures 14-1/4" over fancy game scene embossed checkered horn buttplate. Stock features point pattern checkering and a vacant German silver oval. Matching splinter forend with inlet horn tip has sugar tong friction release. CONDITION: good. Barrels retaining most of their damascus finish. Action and locks retain nearly all of their original nickel plating. Stocks retain nearly all of their dry oil finish with a few marks. Bores are heavily rusted. Action appears tight.
