Fine content A.L.S. "<i>Henri</i>" 2pp. 8vo., [n.p., n.d.], in French to his mother, mentioning one of his most famous series of works. In part: <i>"...I have received your letter, don't worry. I saw Papa who had some good novels of Ticardilles [?] and Louis...de Respide...There has been a revolution at the Cormon studio, a student has been fired...Bachon is our patron...For five days I have been out of the Butte [Montmartre] only once. I painted a woman who has an absolutely gold head [one of the Carmen series]. My drawing of Figaro is not completely finished but it will have to be enough...P.S.
