Beautiful hand-coloured illustrations of fly ties. Acknowledged as the most famous of British books about fishing in Norway. Copies are rare perhaps because they did not often return from Norway with their owner. Of note is the introduction by Jones the owner of the Jermyn Street Tackle shop who partially funded the publication. Much of Tolfrey's text is based upon stories and interviews with the clients of the tackle shop who had fished in Norway. An important work that must be seen.
