TLS FROM WILLIAM OSLER, HISTORY OF MEDICINE. TLS, 1p, on Dr. Osler's Baltimore letterhead. The type of this letter has faded to be nearly unreadable, a date of 1903 can barely be discerned. The handwritten insert and signature are fine. Usual folds. Dr. (Sir) William Osler was the greatest clinical teacher of his day and arguably the most famous physician of the 20th century, having written The Principles and Practice of Medicine, which was still being revised two decades after his death.
