This very rare antique Adirondack book, THE SUMMER PARADISE IN HISTORY, by Warwick Stevens Carpenter was copyright, by A. A. Heard in 1914. It is a "compilation of fact and tradition covering Lake George, Lake Champlain, The Adirondack Mountains, and other sections reached by rail and steamer lines of the Delaware and Hudson Company." This book is dedicated to the members of The New York State Historical Association and The Lake Champlain Association. It includes a chronology from 1609 to 1912 as well as a fold out coloreful map by The Delaware and Hudson Company. Although in fairly good condition for it's age, there is some looseness on the cover that could easily be professionally repaired and some expected agind overall.
