A royal palace guard tabard from Rob Reiner's fantasy adventure The Princess Bride. Guards wore their tabards while they were stationed around Prince Humperdinck's (Chris Sarandon) castle, notably when Buttercup (Robin Wright) was first introduced to the people of Florin as their new queen.

Made from blue felt and lined with grey cotton, the front of the tabard features a black diagonal stripe and a large, yellow griffin emblem. The sides are laced up with brown cord and a Bermans & Nathans costumiers label is sewn into the lining, which reads "4892, Princess Bride". The tabard displays light wear, with several marks on the front, while the blue paint on the griffin's eyes and tongue has worn away, exposing the original red colour underneath.
