THE MUMMY BORIS KARLOFFS SCREEN USED TARBOOSH
This is what I believe, and have determined to be the actual Screen Used Tarboosh worn by Boris Karloff as Ardeth Bay in the original 1932 version of "The Mummy"! A seminal piece of horror wardrobe, worn by the master in his unforgettable role.

Also included is a theatrical upper denture.

Both items come with a hand signed letter and full provenance from long time celebrity interviewer Joe Franklin, the man who pretty much invented the celebrity talk show. In them he describes when and how he received the items.

On top of that, I did a lot of my own personal research in the years that I have owned these. My own research is documented below.

1] These also come with a second form of provenance I personally obtained in the form of the upper denture being Screen Matched to the rare 1940's photo of Boris smiling seen in images by a well known, and respected LA forensic dentist. The one the LAPD and FBI contact when they find a skull out in the desert. He notes the one tooth that has obviously been reset is the only slight difference. A denture is made to order for a specific person, and is like a finger print! No two are the same. This Loa for the denture will hold up in court folks! BS on on some forum is just that! A bunch of jealous little boys hating on whatever because they have nothing! The denture isn't the real value of this lot, but they sure do lend provenance to the Tarboosh.
2] There are stitches inside where they once stitched the tassel [Long Gong] in place on the side for continuity between scenes.
3] There are slight imperfections in the felt that coincide to publicity shots, in tandem position to where the stitches to hold the tassel are. [See Photos].
4] The straw and felt materials along with the single machine stitch inside the crown date this Tarboosh to being no older than 1930.
5] The crest of Fuad I, The very first King of Egypt inside dates it to being manufactured no later than April, 1936 when he died. The crest of his successor King Farouk I was different.
6] This Tarboosh has historical value even without the link to Boris and The Mummy.

Mr Franklin stated none of these facts or material issues when I purchased the items directly from him. Only that he received them directly from Boris Karloff in 1962, and recognized The Tarboosh right away.
I researched, and dated it along with the denture independently, and I believe both of these items to be genuine to the best of my knowledge and personal research.

Instead of babbling amongst yourselves like a flock of cackling geese who know nothing of the actual facts, potential bidders are welcome to come, and inspect these pieces, along with the documentation, and make your own conclusion in person.

Those who do not take advantage of this are either ignorant skeptics who don't want to know the facts, or haters just looking to talk trash! To those skeptics I say "Simply do not bid, and keep your 2 cents to yourselves. Your untested theories and armchair opinions are worth even less than Movie Prop Forums!"
