Added engraved title which, unlike the typographical title, gives London as the place of printing and the names of the printers Newcomb and Hills - as also the NT title. Red-ruled. Historiated initials. With Metrical Psalms dated 1715. Cont. gt. panelled black morocco with floral cornerpieces and dec. spine. Some wear to joints, and corners sl. bumped. A.e.g. Printed in the year that Baskett's name first appeared as Printer to the King, but with an engraved title page that is unrecorded. The size of this Bible, 263mm x 190mm is also unusual. £80-120
