THE GEORGE LESLIE GRANGE ARCHIVE (1910-1982) Grainge was educated at Woodhouse Grove School and appeared for Yorkshire Public Schools before joining Otley Rugby Union Club in 1929, as a right winger. He later appeared for Leeds, Hunslet and Bradford Northern Ruby League Clubs, scoring 37 tries in 71 games for Leeds between 1930 - 1934. He won one England International Cap against France in 1938 and retired from the game two years later. A METAL AND COLOURED ENAMEL LAPEL BADGE, depicting a cockerel surmounting a rugby ball with the No.13 to its centre. Exchanged by Grainge with an opposition player on his sole international appearance against France, 1938. £40 - 60
