<p>Perry Como, one of the most beloved and successful performers of the 20th century, brought joy to the lives of millions through his music, radio and television shows, motion picture performances and philanthropic activities. His career spanned over 60 years with 27 Gold Records and more than 100 million recordings, with probably the best remembered tune “And I Love You So”.
<p>In his later years, Como lived in semi-retirement with his wife Roselle in the Palm Beach County town of Jupiter. They were high school sweethearts and married in 1933. The lives and legacy of Perry and Roselle Como truly represent all that is great in America; opportunity for success, wholesome family values and charity.
<p>More than 1500 lots will be offered at auction, including the furnishings from Perry and Roselle’s waterfront home in Jupiter Florida, their motor cars and an extensive lifetime collection of jewelry, fine art, awards and memorabilia. Roselle’s appreciation for decorative objects, collectibles and fashionable apparel will be presented in crystal, silver, porcelain and designer couture. Perry’s love of golf and fishing will be well represented with personalized clubs, rods, reels and accessories. The Mercedes, Cadillac, and Jeep automobiles remain in Florida and will not be available for viewing in NJ.
