T7 $100 1861. This note last made an appearance at our 2006 FUN sale, and was described, "This serial number 13903-C note is listed as the finest known in the recently released Collecting Confederate Paper Money by Pierre Fricke, where it is the plate note. The Fricke numbering system designates this note as T-7 PF-3 CR-10. This note rates a R-4, very scarce, 76-200 estimated survivors in all grades. Thick bond representatives of this number, like this note, are many times scarcer than their thin paper brethren, especially in this state of preservation. In fact, this note is in the same rarity range as the T3 or T4 Montgomery notes. This $10 has outstanding eye appeal, color, and cut. A great opportunity to acquire a "one of a kind" piece of Southern history." PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ.
Ex-Fricke.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
