T6 $50 1861.
A few pieces are missing on this early Richmond issue. This is serial number 386. These engraved notes along with (T5s) printed by the Southern Bank Note Company were ordered in May 1861 through the ABNCo branch in New Orleans. The parent company had issued orders not to aid the South, therefore managing partner Samuel Schmidt came up with the Southern Bank Note Company name. Needless to say not very many people were fooled. PMG Very Good 10 Net.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
