T5 $100 1861. A fantastic "First Richmond" note that is completely free of any folds, the only minor distractions being some very light handling that is visible after close inspection and the issuing endorsement on the back which is slightly visible from the front. The paper is fully original and even shows its complete original embossing, and the inks and design elements are bold and sharp. This note is perhaps even a bit nicer than the one in our January sale that brought $3,680, and we fully expect the Confederate collectors to rally when the bidding begins for this example. Crisp Uncirculated. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
