<B>T43 $2 1862 Cr. 338 PF-1.</B></I><BR> This "South Strikes Down the Union" note has a brilliant green overprint, and is 95% fully framed. The vast majority of notes from this issue are VG at best, and reviewing our Auction Archives at HA.com proves this point, as we last offered a T-43 graded Extremely Fine five years ago at the 2003 FUN show. That note sold for just over $12,000. Since that sale we have offered two dozen T-43's, with only one grading as high as VF.
