<B>T38 $2 1861 Cr. 286 PF-1.</B></I><BR> This note truly is a scarce issue as no Confederate notes below $5 were authorized and intended to circulate in 1861. The date was incorrectly engraved as 1861 instead of 1862. This<B> Fine </B></I>example is completely framed, as most notes encountered from this issue have awkward cuts, at best. Pinholes are noted, however, due to the lower quality paper used for this type, these are to be expected.
