<B>T38 $2 1861.</B></I> An engraving error gave this issue an 1861 instead of an 1862 date. This note is scarce in all grades and when found is usually at the lower end of the grading spectrum due to the fact that this was the first issue of this denomination and inflation was not rampant at this time. This <B>Very Good</B></I> example displays the typical pinholes and edge tears for the grade.
