T22 $10 1861. This scarcer type, printed by the Southern Bank Note Company in New Orleans (actually a nomme de guerre of this branch of the American Bank Note Company), has attractive engravings and a vivid orange-red overprint. This example, a duplicate from the Camp Zollicoffer collection, has an arguably better appearance than the T22 from this same collection that sold in our January sale in Orlando. It is basically problem-free in appearance, although a small ink stain on the back, a tiny paper thin, and a couple of short tears that are neatly closed by restoration tape are mentioned for accuracy. Fine-Very Fine, and still nice enough to realize. . . Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
