This example bears serial number 283 and, like the T1 above, has been enhanced by minor repairs, although they are slightly more noticeable on this example. A few edge splits have been repaired and some folds have been strengthened, yet the repairs were expertly executed and the eye appeal is outstanding overall. Any Montgomery $500 is desirable, and this note from the Kennedy collection is one of the more attractive examples to reach the market in recent years. Very Fine with the aforementioned repairs and a couple of minor pinholes, and likely to inspire spirited bidding among Confederate specialists.
