T. Kataoka Signed Engraved Browning Superposed Shotgun
Manufactured by Miroku in Japan in 1984, this Browning shotgun features floral scroll engraving on the receiver, trigger guard, break lever, and forearm latch assembly. The left side of the receiver has two pheasants in flight in a field scene, the right side has three ducks in a marsh scene, a setter on point on the bottom and a grouse on the trigger guard. The lower left side of the receiver is signed "T KATAOKA" It is equipped with double ivory bead sights on the high matte vent rib, 2 3/4" chambers, Invector choke system with modified/full chokes installed, with auto ejectors. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector. Mounted with high gloss finished fiddle back checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a Browning vented recoil pad and silver initial oval inscribed "JDC". Length of pull is 14 3/8".

Condition: Near new. The shotgun retains 99.9% original blue and satin coin finishes with a couple minor dings and minor handling marks on the barrels. The wood is excellent plus with a couple minor scuffs and scratches, and sharp checkering.
