(Walt Disney Studios, 1938) Very attractive original T. Hee concept drawing of The Marx Brothers from the Oscar-nominated Silly Symphony short Mother Goose Goes Hollywood, which shows Harpo confused by the appearance of two Grouchos, one of which is sans mustache. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper, which is signed in the lower right corner, "T. Hee." In fine condition, with pin holes to corners.

T. (Thornton) Hee was an American animator, director, and teacher (1911–1988), who worked at companies like Leon Schlesinger Productions, UPA, and Terrytoons. He joined Walt Disney Animation Studios around 1937 and worked there on three separate occasions until 1961; he is most recognized for directing the ‘Dance of the Hours’ segment of Fantasia.
