Swiss Model 1882 Double Action Revolver
Used by the Swiss military from 1882 to as late as 1950. The checkered Swiss cross embossed hard rubber grips on this revolver indicate that it is an early production model. Blade front and notched rear sights, Liege proofed fluted cylinder, ejector rod, and various proofmarks. All serial number markings match with the addition of the number "978" on the trigger and ejector rod. Straw colored hammer, trigger, cylinder latch and ejector rod retainer.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some minor edge wear and a faint plum patina. There is some scattered minor spotting with an area of spotting on the cylinder and a series of minor scratches on the top strap. Hammer, trigger, cylinder latch and ejector rod retainer retain 20% original straw color, otherwise a gray patina. The grips are fine with some minor wear in the checkering and some scattered minor handling marks.
