Swiss Double Action Military Revolver with Rare Combination Shoulder Stock/Holster
Introduced in 1882. Blade and notch sights, with extensive Swiss Cross proofs, matching full numbers on the barrel, frame and cylinder, with matching partial numbers on most of the parts. Fitted with a checkered hammer, smooth trigger and early style checkered hard rubber grips with a circled Swiss Cross on the left panel. A lanyard swivel is mounted on the buttplate, which is extended and fitted with a slot for a shoulder stock. Included with the revolver is a black leather flap holster which doubles as a wire frame shoulder stock.

Condition: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, showing 95% of the blue finish, with some bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. A brown and gray patina is forming on the butt and grip straps. A strong straw colored finish is present on the hammer, loading gate and trigger, with the cylinder pin and ejector rod gray with spotting. Grips are also very fine, with an aged brown color forming overall, along with some light pressure dens. Holster leather is heavily cracked with some tearing. Mechanically excellent.
