This antique 12-size pocket watch is housed in a 0.800 fine silver Galonne case with decorative gold accents and engraved floral detail. The case is stamped "0.800" with a crown hallmark, serial number 7095, and the maker's mark "Guivre P&M". The term Galonne refers to a silver case with applied gold trim, a popular decorative style in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The movement is marked "Remontoir Cylindre 6 Rubis", indicating a stem-wind design with a cylinder escapement and six jewel bearings. The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals, ornate gold-tone hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. Swiss cylinder watches of this period were valued for their elegant styling and affordability, often produced for export markets. Case diameter (excluding the bow): 1.75" dia. Case thickness: 0.5"W. Case diameter with bow: 2.5"L. Bow: 18mm. The overall weight of the pocket watch is 2.4 ounces.
