A second cousin of Lucille Ball, Suzan Ball (1934–1955) embarked on a promising Hollywood career with appearances in several adventure films in the early 1950s. Though she was diagnosed with cancer in 1953 and lost her leg to amputation, Ball went on to marry actor Richard Long and to resume her career. She finally succumbed at the age of 21. Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo, signed and inscribed in ink “To Marilyn from Suzan Ball.” In fine condition, with some scattered light soiling and ink marks.
