Roberts, Willis Van Devanter, Pierce Butler, Charles E. Hughes, Harlan F. Stone, J. C. McReynolds, Benjamin N. Cardozo, and Geo[rge] Sutherland. Matted and framed to an overall size of 15 x 13.25. In very good condition, with mild rippling, uniform light toning to borders, and some scattered light foxing. A distinguished portrait of an important court that would soon battle Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal policies.
