<B>Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane #1 (DC, 1958) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white pages.</B></I> After a tryout in <B>Showcase </B></I>#9, Lois Lane became the star of her very own comic series. As a matter if fact, Lois was the first <B>Showcase</B></I> character to get her own book, yes, even before the Atom or the Flash! This issue started a 16-year run, and DC took no chances by assigning the cover to veteran Superman artist Curt Swan. The interior art is by Kurt Schaffenberger. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $900; VF 8.0 value = $2,665.
