<B>Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane #1 (DC, 1958) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> We've heard people say that this should be considered the first comic of the Silver Age, since it's the first time a 1950s "tryout" character got his... or rather <I>her</B></I> own title! VG/FN is a strong grade for this issue, considering the best known copy is VF-, and fully half of the CGC-certified copies are VG+ or lower! Ace Superman artist Curt Swan was adept at drawing the hero's Girl Friend too, and it was Swan handling cover art chores here. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $600; FN 6.0 value = $900.
