<B>Superboy #1 (DC, 1949) CGC FN- 5.5, Off-white pages.</B></I> The Man of Steel's boyhood adventures are chronicled in this first issue. It's interesting to note that the concept of Smallville has yet to be developed here; in fact, Superboy's adventures originally were set in Metropolis. This copy looks pretty sharp for the grade, but does feature slightly rusty staples. CGC notes, "Moderate amount of writing on margin of 1st page in pen and pencil." Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $2,328.
